Singapore Road Railers

I'm visiting Singapore in November and hope to see the R/Rs working there. Does anybody know exactly whereabouts they are working, and can they be easily accessed ? Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Last year 12 RRVs were spread across 3 yards - all are difficult to see unless travelling by train.

A small yard between Bukit Batok- Bukit Gombak (just after the tunnel on Gombak side, Google maps: 1.353390, 103.751923).

A large yard between Kranji- Yew Tee (both sides of the track just before Kranji station, Google maps: 1.427645, 103.765787)

A large yard between Yio Chu kang - Katib (lake side of the Lentor fly over, Google maps: 1.393882, 103.835188)

They have now finished these works I believe and most/all are working on the East West line. Proposed yards were at Ulu Pandan depot (near Jurong East).

Just looked on google, looks like they are still stabling RRVs at Bukit Gombak for East West line renewals. Depots are very difficult to get close to /photograph due to the security.

Many thanks for the information Graham. I will try and have a look when I am there. Roger.

Roger, Just seen SMRT have posted some info on their facebook here, looks like they have a staging area at Kellang now. The railway comes out the tunnel under the site here before it heads to Aljunied. https://www.facebook.com/SMRTCorpSG/posts/1031849626836266
