Hi all,

I went to the road bridge behind Roberts Road shed on Thursday 28th of Feb and there was a Network Rail track machine poking out of the shed but I couldn't identify it.

Does anyone know what it is by any chance ?

Looking at my pic it looks like a Robel 69.60/4-UK-MMU Mobile Maintenance Unit and there was a move from Roberts Road to Retford I think so if anyone know what it was I'd appreciate it.

If it was the Retford Robel then it would be no.5 . There was a 6U85, which is the headcode for this unit, movement from Roberts Road back to Retford as you said. There is a wheel lathe at Roberts Road so I presume that's why it was there. Normal maintenance is usually done at Rugby.
