Carillion's northern plant depot.

From the station, turn left onto the main road and continue about 250 yards until your reach a fork in the road. From here, turn left so it takes you past the football ground. Follow this road all the way to the railway bridge. You should pass the Rail Supplies warehouse on your left, and the Mornflake factory on your right.
The plant depot is about 50 yards beyond the bridge, on your right. If you go into the field just over the river bidge, you can get most machines at the depot.
For those interested, the entrance to Basford Hall is on the left hand side under the railway bridge.
Usual machines
As it is a Carillion depot, usually Carillion machines are found here! Occasionally an interesting visitor, such as a Stoneblower or Jarvis machine visits.

Just to update this - the OTPD at Crewe is no longer used by Carillion for plant. It's now used by DRS for locomotives...
