Location Profile - Newcastle OTPD

I have never asked for access to this depot (the entrance to which is underneath the Redheugh bridge) however viewing from the road bridge is adequate.
Directions
The depot is situated 100m east from Newcastle Central station, but at river level.
OTP is viewable from the ECML crossing the King Edward bridge, just prior to arrival in Newcastle but binoculars and speed are required. By foot, leave the Central station and turn left along Neville St, bear left onto the Scotswood Rd and follow traffic onto the Redheugh Rd Bridge, the depot is viewable from this bridge (binoculars help). By road leave the A1 on the A184 (Gateshead) follow this until you reach the A189 which crosses the Redheugh Bridge (park nearby but not on the bridge as it is a dual carriageway!).
Usual machines
Tampers / Ballasters / Cranes / Mini-things / Road vehicles - 100% chance of OTP though not often more than 4 or 5 units.
