First Engineering and Jarvis base.
Directions
The main depot and yard can be best viewed from passing trains on the West Coast main line between Motherwell and Glasgow Central on the east side of the line. The training school can be viewed from local trains that branch off here (ie the Motherwell to Glasgow Central low level stopping service.)
Usual machines
Visiting Jarvis and First Engineering machines. The yard has an array of stored TRAMMs and TASC 45s and an old RM62 ballast cleaner. First Engineering have a training school here where new machines can sometimes be found.

All the TASCs & TRAMMs, the Schoma, the RM62 and the Neptune trolley have now all been disposed for scrap.

This location is currently undergoing some form of upgrade, with a new extended shed, all the old track and sidings lifted and new tracks being laid. I thought it may need to be relocated when the M74 arrives?
