Location Profile - Woking
Thanks to Ben Williams / Keith Gunner for the details about this location
Main stabling point for Balfour Beatty and AMEC stock.
Directions
The yards can be viewed from passing trains towards the south and north beyond, and west of, Woking station. Most OTP now stables on the north side, best viewed from trains on the main line to Basingstoke, although there are several pedestrian viewing points (Poole Road (the entrance to the up yard), the Morrison supermarket car park further west, the overbridges across the Basingstoke and Guildford lines, and the entrance road to the down yard and Days aggregates depot).
Usual machines
BB Tampers and TRAMMS and an AMEC Tamper. Wet Spot Machine 76401 is normally stabled on the south side, together with the occasional MPV, a Harsco or other Grinder and a Stoneblower.

The Stoneblower (DR80214 for some time) now tends to stable with the BB machines in the up (north side) yard.
