Strictly private (an EWS affair) - security rigid. However viewing from the roadbridge is fine and safe.
Directions
Adjacent to the ECML (but barely visible), approx. 5 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne. By road leave the A1 at the junction one north of that Angel of the North. If travelling north take the first left at the roundabout (under the A1), or if travelling south take the fourth exit (the one after A1 southbound). At the next roundabout turn left and park at the road bridge over the north end of Tyne Yard. View with binoculars.
Usual machines
Cranes and yellow carriages only. 50% chance of OTP.
Now a line of stored LWRT wagons present too.
