On-Track Plant - News - Road-Railer section

Road-Railer section

20 March 2007

Some important news regarding the future of road-railer section on this website.

As a very small number of you may have noticed, the Road-Railer lists on my website are no longer up-to-date when compared to the new OTP2007 book (and, to a lesser extent, the older 2005 book). To get the lists fully updated seems a rather daunting task which would take up a huge amount of my time - time which I sadly do not have.

* As such, I have decided not to continue updating the Road-Railer section on the website. *

NPT Publishing will however continue to supply Road-Railer updates and they will still be published on the website - but in a similar format to news articles rather than in the lists.

You can discuss this further on the OTPgen mailing list or using the comments facility below...

Thanks all. I have removed the sightings segment of the lists and the ability to report them. If you do wish to share your sightings, please send them to the OTPgen mailing list. It also has a very good search utility so you can find other people's sightings.

Regarding updates: I have added a comments facility to the list pages. With this you can add details about new machines, renumberings, namings, withdrawals etc. - anything you feel may help other enthusiasts (but no sightings please - see above).
