Is this machine a runner yet? 240v lining system and a screemin' Detroit diesel in it! What and animal!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a runner for quite some time now! It has already knocked out a fair mileage for the NYMR. It was converted from a 12 tool machine back to a 16 tool at the NYMR around 2 years ago! Electronics are 110V from a 24v rotary converter (not 240v). Fully calibrated, it is still going strong!

Now lost it's BB logo's (as picture above). It is gaining yellow paintwork very gradually.

Still in regular use at the NYMR, actually being used this week!

A few stock problems recently (bank upfeed cylinder, mirelli motors, minor twin disc problems) all of which have been rectified. This machine is credit to the NYMR pway guys that operate and maintain it, still working very well!

Just sound's like usual "lack of use" problems. Please dont' take that as a knock, i'm just saying that minor issues such as you've raised above (especially the Marelli motors) are things that start to give trouble if you're not chonking out 1600yds a night. The other faults are just wear and tear. Good to see the old beast is still providing service. Nice to hear that it's a 16 tooler again. Keep up the excellent work.
