    I like the not to be moved sign even though its off its bogies and jacked up.

    Presumably moving it up and down doesn't count....

    With the height of it it would be rather hard to get the couplings to reach so towing is probably a non option!!!!!! You would be able to drop it down and get a buffer lock on it though?

    I was the senior maintenance supervisor at Reading before privatisation and the use of the stop board was very important. This would indicate that no movement of the machine was to be made as the machine may have it rail wheels on the rail head but still be connected to the jacks. This would have serious consequences to machine, lifting jack and of course the staff that could be working on the machine.
