Fully agree, cracking machine, fast, acurate and reliable. I was surprised to see it's twin scrapped by Carillion. But like you said it doesn't have ALC (and never had ata/atta fitted) which is a requirement of the NR plant supply contracts. I don't think it will see main line work again unless it could be utilised for sleeper squaring again?
