You'll probably not believe, that I once saw one of these "Off Tracked" on a level crossing, then driven down a road and into a layby about 30 yds away :-D

Seen geders travel one all over sandiacre yard with no rails any where so 30 yrds down the high street is no problem. Once we had a D5 dozer dropped of 2 miles from site at the wrong level crossing so we tramped it down the high street at 2 in the morning should have seen peoples faces as they come out the local pub!!!(clater,clunk clatter)

I think it was the very same one!!!! When I saw it it was on it's way into the car park of a pub called The Tappers Harker, in Long Eaton (Next to Long Eaton Town Level Crossing)
