this appears to be an iron fairy on an old bogie well wagon, you can still see the headlights and wheel arches

Roger Butcher states in Track Machines 3rd Edition that this was one of three LD DH Cranes acquired by BR - the others being 81403 & 4. 81401 is recorded as being on mounted on wagon DM 748338. OTP 5th Edition says that it was scrapped at Willesden (Old Oak Sidings) by Maize Metals, Wednesbury, 6/92.
