This is the second machine to carry this number. This vehicle was previously numbered DX 50011 and then DX 50001.
The original DX 50001/90001 was stored during 1983 and scrapped in 1988.

This machine is in a sorry state now.A few years back we had a rush job to put the axles back in this and it has not moved since

For all the technical/electrical people out there, this machine was wired positive earth !!!!

It was also in working order prior to getting an Ultrasonic axle inspection Both were found untestable due to poor grain structure (old age) and susquently never moved again. This may be why Kevin was fitting new ones some time later.
