Is this machine now preserved on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway or was it just hired for some work on the Broadway extension?

From what I remember of this machine, I don't think there is much chance that it has been hired for work...! The machine was heavily stripped at Ashford to keep various other machines going.

The trailor's for both 207 & 209 were scrapped in the 2004 Ashford cull. The Tractor's of 207 & 209 were saved because of thoughts about making a twin powered double craned TRAMM. I think they are both still in the Ashford siding, but 209 in less an engine.

The tractor 207 is still at Toddington so, yes, it is preserved, in a manner of speaking. No, it has'nt worked on the Broadway extension - I can concur with Jamie that it is has been stripped - so it's a non-runner and likely to remain so, I would guess, for the forseeable future.
