There are 4 'rams' on the vehicle 2 located at the front and the others just behind the rear wheel. These are associated with putting the vehicle on track. The vehicle is parked parallel with the track. The rams are on arms that extend out sideways about 1/2 a vehicle width. Once out the rams are extended and the whole vehicle is picked up off the ground and shifted sideways. The process can be repeated. The same system is fitted to most SRS vehicles.
