I take it this one fell of the back of a lorry or its in very good condition if the track was removed from under it and the sidings have been converted into a showground.. must have one best in show for railway vehicle!!!!

No, I'm afraid this is just a poor early attempt at a road / rail vehicle! The designer saw no need for road wheels but experience quickly showed very poor adhesion in wet conditions and a safety notice was issued confirming that use of these vehicle should be limited to on rail use only. Obviously the owner of this one ignored the safety notice!!!!!

I wonder how he navigates a corner with no steering wheel or does it come with indipendant braking like a tractor...or does he just bounce of the kerbs?

Steering is achieved by rapid weight re-distribution caused by passengers moving from one side to the other and leaning out - somewhat akin to sidecar racing!

Apposite comment, the 3rd from JF. JAP engines being synonymous - for those of us of a certain age - with motorcycle sports.
Speedway anyone.
