The crane has now moved to the south end of the yard and is more visable from passing services on the East Coast. It has of course also been joined by the OTPPG's 68030 and 68706. The yard its self has changed quite a bit too.

Work is continuing to restore this crane, and our team believe we have now solved the slewing problems which have dogged this machine since it was donanted by the North Norfolk Railway.

This crane is now very close to returning to full working order - the slewing problem has been solved (it was mainly a build up of rust and corrosion) and minor work is required to ensure the unit is safe to use to lift a load.
