Wasn’t it Centrac that merged to form GTRM that was them bought out by Carillion

centrac was short for CENntral TRACk renewals purchased by Carillion Tarmac in 1996
Carillion Tarmac and GEC Alst(h)om formed GTRM
Carillion Tarmac then purchased Alst(h)om part of the GTRM making it a Carillion company

And now Colas have bought the Carillion Machine's. So they loads of plant now because they also have all the old AMEC machines too.
