Certainly doesn't look OOU to me. 1991 Platform 5 OTP books lists it as "Hassocks OOU"

In the 1995 book, it is OOU at Ashford Plant Depot. Between then and 2000, it must've been repaired, because it was used during the Euston remodelling.
I'm sure these vehicles don't have much more of a future - with the increase in Road-Railers being fitted with platform lifts. I can't see many/any making it into preservation either, with them being salvaged for spares, and lack of preserved lines with OHL! Suppose they could be used for tunnels..
