We're not quite sure what this is - presumably a water tank but any more details welcome!

I thought this was an interesting machine at the time as had not seen anything similar. My non professional guess is it is definitely a water carrier seeing as it says "eau non potable" on the side.

At the end is an large plastic type liquid carrier with two green outlet points (can't see in this photo) with what looks like hose type connecters.

The inscription on the cab side rather literally translated says "do not park in front of spray zone"

It also has what look like different angled spray nozzles underneath

Therefore could it be a weedkiller machine.

I have an advantage as can blow up the original.

French version of a "water jetting" railhead cleaning train perhaps? Looks like a power unit at the rear in green so maybe a pum connected to this and a water cannon?

Can't see any lights at the cab end does the original photo show them in close up?

There are no forward facing lights at the cab end, or at the back for that matter, not even running lights. Though the ones on view look like they may swivel.

The green "box" does look like some kind of power unit. It has a nice red button and four small indicator control panels and a yellow sticker with 92 on it!

It is actually piped up to a Draisine (DU65 6.025) at the front.
