Although from what I can gather Lambert Smith Hampton as Liquidator of Llangollen Railway PLC has sold the line and many assets to Llangollen Railway Trust, certain other assets are included in an online auction on 12th May 2021. These include cranes DRP81530 (described as having no independent travel, but otherwise in working order), and ADRC96718, plus Case 988P 4206 (which is listed as it's build number) and which is sold subject to an undertaking to renew it's LOLER inspection.

Also included, is a what is described as a 4M Rexquote T4 trailer which has is visible in pictures coupled to 4206, and I believed arrived around the same time. This is likely also ex TXM but does anyone know which one this is?

The current bid on the Plasser Crane is quite high, despite not knowing the full details of the self traction bogie issue.

Read a report that the Llangollen Railway had bid on and won DRP81530, an RRV and a well wagon mounted with an Atlas crane (along with other coaches and wagons). Unfortunately it appears that I've not saved that source. I'm sure more information will come to light in the near future
