Passing Ipswich Freightliner Depot on Saturday 1st March, I observed a yellow tug/shunter being used to move wagons around the depot.
The only number I could see was ES 600 on the cab front.
Does anyone have any info about this small 4 wheel battery electric shunter please.

It's E608, on trainlogger: https://trainlogger.co.uk/number/express-608. There is another one at Norwich that I would like to know the number but I can't find it anywhere!

Within the IRS 19EL handbook, we list two depot shunters at Norwich, which are a Harmill battery loco (with no identity as yet), and a Zephir. However, its possible that there could be an 'Express' battery loco, an ES1000, which was ordered sometime ago for a proposed depot at Parkeston Quay. As far as I know, the depot at Parkeston was never constructed (unless anyone knows otherwise). Is the Norwich vehicle an ES600 or an ES1000?
