Hello all I'm struggling with all these numbers. What do I need for ID

On Real Time Train they have other numbers.

Train 2Q08 - This the ID number AKA Headcode?

Schedule ID U14664 (9547330) - This ID from place A to B?

TRUST ID 542Q081812 - ID of Train?

TSC 52995001

UID U14664, identity 2Q08

This was a Yellow Test train.

Thanks for any help.

2Q08 is normally used by 950001, which is not in the scope of this website. Use Trainlogger.co.uk or Departmentals.com to record a sighting of this.

Yes, the 2Q08 is what is known as the 'headcode'. The schedule ID is the unique identifier for that specific working, the TRUST ID is the 'longer' form of headcode which indicates time and date of departure (1 is a retimed or repathed train I believe, 8 relates to a departure time of between 22:00 and 22:59, 12 is the date of departure. The 54 at the start should be unique to that working on this date - there won't be any other 2Q08s that will start with 54 that day, so I'm led to believe). The TSC relates to the specific operator of the working.

Many thanks helping me out. Did try Google but got so confused!

Did think this website was all machinery & vehicles on rail.

Thanks again Dan A

Welcome to the website. To avoid any further confusion and mistakes please only log the number that is printed on the machine you see. *Do not* log sightings using their four character headcode (6J24, 6J35, 2Q08 etc).
