The first World Wickham Day, takes place this coming Friday.
22nd April 2022, marks the 100th Anniversary of Wickham Works No. 1 being dispatched from D. Wickham & Co. Ltd, Ware, Hertfordshire.
This was a 3'6" Gauge, Wickham Type 10 Trolley built for the British owned, Tal Tal Railway in Chile.
We are looking for everyone to post their pictures, films, experiences / memories of Wickham Trolleys, Wickham Railway Vehicles and Wickham Industrial Equipment on social media and the internet, with the following tags:
#WorldWickhamDay #WickhamofWare #WickhamTrolley #WickhamRailwayVehicles #WickhamIndustrial and #TheRailTrolley Trust
Please join us in marking this anniversary and also spreading knowledge of all things Wickham.
Thanks in advance, as always

After some discussions & for various reasons (some personal), we are, for this year only, going to extend yesterday's World Wickham Day into World Wickham Week, so that we can spread the message further & wider and make more contacts across the world.
So, until 23:59 on Thursday 28th April 2022, I would ask you all to continue to post videos, photos, memories, information & anything else associated with this wonderful company, with the new #WorldWickhamWeek
I would also like to make an announcement for your 2023 diaries / calendars.
Saturday 22nd April & Sunday 23rd April, will be World Wickham Weekend.
With a year's notice, hopefully we can get railways / owners / custodians, displaying, running & demonstrating their Wickham Trolleys & other Wickham railway vehicles.
And also getting owners / custodians of Wickham industrial equipment doing the same with their pumps, hoists, winches, washers / cleaners etc.
Thank you all for your help & support yesterday.
I look forward to sharing further recent finds with you, during the coming week.
