Network Rail

Network Rail have acquired several Land Rovers, a Ford Ranger and two new Kawasaki Mules from Aquarius. The Land Rovers are based in Wessex, and the Ford Ranger & Mules will be heading to Scotland.

Story Contracting

Story Contracting are in the process of renumbering their ex Caledonian fleet. Interestingly they carry both new fleet number and old fleet number. Noted so far are:

1101-20, ex 20

1102-21, ex 21

1103-22, ex 22

1105-24, ex 24

1109-28, ex 28

1111-02, ex RA02

Logically there are several gaps in the sequence, ie 1104-23, 1106-25, 1107-26, 1108-27, 1110-01, 1112-03, 1113-04, 1114-05, 1115-06, 1116-07, 1117-08. As we know, logic isn't always applied when numbering things, so please keep an eye out!

Story have also taken delivery of at least two new 5m trailers from Chieftain - 010772 & 010773.
