Morning of 23/04/2021 DR75410 caught fire at Dunton Green Stn (Sevenoaks) this was operating a service from engineering works late that night

Machine has now been towed at 5mph to Tonbridge West Yard by a GBRf 66 and is now being inspected by senior engineering staff.

Any idea what the future is for it? Will it be repaired or up for scrap, it’s hard to tell...

Depends on the state of the chassis, the damage does look similar to 75403, which I believe left the UK and not returning.

Returned to Ashford OTPD Depot on 13th July 2021

Will be taken apart on site to be used for Spares but Un reusable parts will be sent for scrap

DR75410 was removed from Ashford during September and scrapped (unknown location) only 1 cab remains at Ashford Depot
