Machine has now been towed at 5mph to Tonbridge West Yard by a GBRf 66 and is now being inspected by senior engineering staff.
Second one of this type to barbecue itself. Is this a built in feature that needs looking at ?
Think it is the 3rd, the 2nd one was put out quickly before it got that bad.
Where and when was the Voker B41 UE Fire similar to Balfour 75410?
Trevor,
If you look up DR75403, details are on that page.
Any idea what the future is for it? Will it be repaired or up for scrap, it’s hard to tell...
Depends on the state of the chassis, the damage does look similar to 75403, which I believe left the UK and not returning.
Returned to Ashford OTPD Depot on 13th July 2021
Will be taken apart on site to be used for Spares but Un reusable parts will be sent for scrap
DR75410 was removed from Ashford during September and scrapped (unknown location) only 1 cab remains at Ashford Depot
