6Q01 is the headcode for this move next Tuesday 22nd of April. Any ideas what it maybe, as the Linsinger that runs under this headcode is booked off Welwyn GC next Tuesday.

Looks like a DB Cargo-hauled move. Four Balfour Beatty and two Colas Rail tampers are due "soon", so could be one or some of those.
Am informed that it's at least one of the new Colas examples.

Balfour Beatty DR73958 observed in Linz Yard from a passing train on 20 May coupled up to a Rail Adventure barrier. I believe it was also marked up as 99709 123029. I expect it to arrive on these shores in the very near future

I was taken into the compound at Plasser this afternoon at around 1300 and can confirm 73953 was definitely there.

I passed Dollands moor Sunday another new tamper was sitting in the sidings
Brand new Balfour Beatty unit at West Ealing on Monday evening (16/6/25) outside with Colas unit, couldn't see number from passing train.
DR 73956 arrived on 16th and went straight into the shed.

Colas DR73953 and DR73954 still visible at West Ealing this morning from a passing train along with a couple of the Balfour Beatty machines that I couldn’t identify
73957 was behind them, visible from the works entrance gate Aug 6th - 8th. 73956 behind the units in the sidings poking out of the side shed
