Again looking through old notebooks I have come across reference to seeing 8 of these in Scotland in August 1994.
They are listed in OTP Book 4 page 15 - 88063/1 - 88063/8 all allocated to Scottish Region. I believe they had local identities 55242-55249.
I saw 55244,5,6,7 at Kilmarnock and 55242,3,8,9 a few days before at Helmsdale.
We don't currently have these listed but we're wondering if any could have survived? Anyone take any photos of them? Could they be the same as the 019xxx Geismar rail carriers?
Anyone ever examined them closely enough to see if they carry works numbers?
