Last month IR took delivery of a Geismar track recording car. No further details so far, the only picture I have seen is of it on a lorry covered in tarpaulins. The length suggests a bogie vehicle of 20 metres or more

This vehicle is a bogie diesel hydraulic vehicle, delivered in March 2020 but still not in use.

Fleet Number is 720 and works number appears to be 0531

701 had what appears to be its first mainline test run only today 14.02.2023!
