We're members of the North Norfolk Railway where DR 98801 lives now. Its use has been restricted to a very few people until recently but I've now been lucky enough to sign it and some others will be trained up as well. As a part of that, we're writing up some driver training notes and thought it would interesting to include some background on the vehicle but it's proving very illusive. Can anyone confirm the exact date it was delivered to the NNR - I'm guessing 23rd May 2006 from the information on this site? I've pieced together a few bits and bobs from books 'On-Track plant 2000' and 'On-track plant on British Railways' fourth edition, but does anyone have other information that they'd be willing to share with us on the NNR? I think we have some documents for it when it was based out of Colchester. Definitely got some original pictures of it in Balfour Beatty livery
