At the Channel Tunnel construction site at Cheriton on the above date there were 2 Balfour Beatty owned track machines numbered 40 and 41. I think 40 was a tamper but not sure about 41. I noted 40 there several time afterwards and also at Ruislip LUL depot several times. Any help with identification of these 2 would be much appreciated.
