When I look at the list of road railers https://www.ontrackplant.com/road-railers and scroll to the bottom, I see the message "you have seen x out of 3350 listed Road-Railers. You need y more." However, when I check again, I find that x has reduced and so y has increased. What happened to the difference, please?

Disappearing RRs?
No RRVs haven been deleted, but some statuses of older/scrapped machines have been altered , which removes them from the active lists - this in turn affects the counts at the bottom of the page you mention.
