Hydrex Equipment (UK) have recently acquired a large number of road-railer vehicles from several companies after taking them over.

Both Hughes Rail and Lindsay Plant have recently been taken over by Hydrex Equipment (UK). These takeovers now mean that Hydrexat the biggest owner of RR vehicles in the country.

Hughes was purchased by Hydrex Equipment (UK), and will, for the foreseeable future, operate as a seperate division under the Hughes name. Machines are being renumbered as 4xxx .

Lindsay machines are now 5xxx instead of WExxx and now operate in the Hydrex Rail Services division.
