Balfour Beatty has sold 81318, and it is now residing at the nearby Colne Valley Railway.

Purchased during the summer of 2001 by Colne Valley Diesels Ltd, it moved by road to the Railway in early October. Since then, it has been restored to operational use - a remarkable achievement judging by its delapidated state when noted at Colchester!

Paul would like to know if anyone has any information abouts this machine's history. If so, then please send it in and I will pass it on.
