Preservation round-up

Here is a quick update of which items of plant have been preserved recently.
This list is by no means comprehensive. Some machines which have been mentioned in previous articles don't appear here.
Tampers346, a Matisa LCR04 formerly owned by Ford Dagenham, is now at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
Ballast machines6224, 1970 and 6266, 1971, Matisa R7/R7D regulators, are now at the Midland Railway Centre at Swanwick, previously being owned by Balfour Beatty.
Small machinesBP049 (74050) and BP050 (74051), Permaquip Ballast Packers, are also now at the MRC, from MLP Rail.
105099, Amey's Permaquip Materials Handling Unit, can now be found at the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway.
PM002, another Permaquip MHU, but formerly owned by AMEC, is now located at the Mid Hants Railway.
68803 has joined the ever increasing collection of Permaquip Personel Carriers at Wooler. Their new owner, Brian Cunningham, would like to thank Jarvis for all of their support during the purchase of two machines from them, and has asked me to publish this photo as a "thank you"..
