Time for another quick round up of recent happenings in the OTP world.
New MachinesDuring the middle of March, two new machines have arrived.
First Swietelsky have taken delivery of their first Plasser & Theurer AFM2000RT Track Finishing Machine - 77001. This machine is a combination of a ballast regulator and dynamic track stabiliser. The build number is 536 of 2006.
SECO Rail have received another Matisa B41UE tamper - 75407.

Several of the preserved machines owned by Anglia Shunters have been on the move. 97701, a shunter/ex Matisa C311 Ballast Cleaner has moved from Thorrington to the Rother Valley Railway. It is expected that sister machine 97703 will follow shortly.
Wagon mounted crane 66400 is expected to go to the Spa Valley Railway (where the other 66400 is also!).
98201, a Plasser TRAMM wasn't so lucky. This was sold in an auction to a vehicle recovery company in West Mersea late last year and was scrapped on site at Thorrington.
