On-Track Plant Roundup - February 2025

Here is a very short round-up of news from February 2025.

Vintage 1969 Plasser 06-32 Tamper 73010 For Sale

The Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust are in the process of disposing of their Plasser & Theurer 06-32SLC Tamper (73010). Having been part of The National Collection at the NRM until it was deaccessioned in 2011, it was subsequently moved to the Aln Valley Railway and later Ferryhill. During its life in preservation it has not received much attention so requires serious restoration.

If you're interested in acquiring the machine then details can be found at here: TractionAds issue 156 - will be disposed in July if no buyer is found.
