News Roundup - November 2013

Apart from the Story/Caledonian and Colas/Amey acquisitions, November 2013 has been a rather quiet month. Here's a quick round-up...
Preservation
Several long-missing RRV have re-surfaced after many years. The ex-Balfour Beatty Wickham/Ford Cargo lorry/access platform, and two ex-Gamble dumper/cranes have turned up in Gloucestershire. The Ford was last noted in 2004, and the Gamble dumpers were sold at an auction during 2007.
ex-KGJ Price Case Poclain 61P excavator Q104BAU has turned up at the Shillingstone Railway in Dorset, apparently arriving in August.
Rexquote
A new Komatsu PW170 Megarailer has been seen at Rexquote's factory in Somerset. Apart from the number, 910029, further details are not yet known.
Likewise, a new Genie Z60/34 Accessrailer for Babcock Rail has been noted - 912068.
Road-Rail Cranes
Road-Rail cranes have taken delivery of two new Chieftain 5m trailers. As well as this, their second crane is nearing completion with delivery expected in December.
SPL Powerlines
The final new Platform Basket EVO2 MEWP has been delivered to SPL Powerlines from Promax Access (912063).
Fastline Geismar EGOs
Two former Fastline Geismar EGOs (EGO4 901032 and EGO5 901029) & their trailers have left Hardingham for a new life in Poland. Quite what this life will be is unknown - they're currently for sale with Tor-Rent (not to be confused with Torrent).
